Accreditation & Quality Assurance

Lifelines is accredited through the Council on Accreditation for Children and Families (COA). All professionals are licensed and follow all COA standards, as well as their professional ethics. A review process is in place to ensure that all COA standards are followed appropriately.

Measuring Our Impact

Our Agency consistently demonstrates programmatic excellence through our outcome measures. Through our COA accreditation, we have developed an extensive performance and quality improvement program throughout the agency. Not only do we review the quality and outcomes of our agency services through annual client surveys, pre-tests/post tests, and chart reviews, but we also review our internal structure through personnel satisfaction surveys, board meeting surveys and community stakeholders’ assessments.

Our most recent surveys consistently document our clients' high level of satisfaction in all programs. Among those participating, 85% indicated that they were "very satisfied" and 15% "satisfied" with Agency services. 100% indicated that they would refer others to our programs.

The following clients’ comments, "Satisfied"; "I am satisfied with the services. They can’t get much better"; "Services are excellent"; "I really enjoyed the class. If I need to come to another class, I will", "The kids really enjoyed the presentation. They learned a lot", provide clear evidence of the effectiveness of our services.

Through our Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) program, we are able to see if clients are satisfied with our services, how and what progress is made and what we can change to improve our services. The Executive Director and Management Team review program PQI reports quarterly. Appropriate changes are made. This information is shared with our Board of Directors, funders and community stakeholders. We also utilize this data in our agency needs assessment and strategic planning.
