United Way 211 and Lifelines Counseling Offering Free Tax Prep Solutions

Filing your taxes each year can be stressful so Consumer Credit Counseling Services would like to share with you some tools to help you reach financial stability. You earned your money! Now file it! Keep it! Save it!

Is your 2019 household income $66,000 or less?
If so, you are eligible for FREE tax preparation and e-filing of federal and state income tax returns by IRS certified and trained volunteers. Call 2-1-1 for an appointment time or click here to schedule an appointment online! This is for individual and joint couples.

All appointments are located at Lifelines Family Counseling Services, 705 Oak Circle Drive East, Mobile, AL 36609.

Volunteers from Lifelines Counseling Services offer sessions where you can use our computers to file your return. An IRS certified volunteer will be present to guide you if you get stuck. And best of all, like any volunteer tax preparation services, there is no charge to do this.

Please ensure you bring all your tax documents with you

• All W-2s, Social security 1099 forms and any other income received documents
• Documentation if you plan to itemize (home mortgage, car registration medical expenses you paid and were not reimbursed, etc.)
• Form 1098-T if you or a dependent attended college in 2019
• Direct deposit information
