Giving Tuesday and Our Holiday Giving Campaign

Nov 6th, 2015

HOLIDAY GIVING CAMPAIGN BENEFITING LIFELINES COUNSELING SERVICES From October 1st to December 1st, Family Counseling Center of Mobile (dba Lifelines Counseling Services), will be running a Holiday Giving campaign, in conjunction with the National Giving Tuesday campaign. The donation page is on our website, www.lifelinesmobile.org/help_donation. The money raised will go towards Lifelines Counseling’s many programs, including, but not limited to, the Family Counseling Center, Consumer Credit Counseling Service and the Rape Crisis Center. Giving Tuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday to kick-off the holiday giving season. Held this year on Dec 1st, this national holiday is held to inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support. For $3 a day, during the months of October and November, donations are encouraged to be paid monthly or one time. Payments will be accepted through paypal on the website, at the agency, the mail or over the telephone. Each donor will receive regular updates on the progress of the campaign and packets that include information on the agency programs and an agency pen. Donations of all sizes and corporate matching programs are appreciated. Please contact Lifelines Counseling Services for more information.
