world

Upon leaving for work one day this week, my husband called after me…

“Make the world a better place today.”

During the ride to work, those words seemed to hang in the air. How often do we begin our day three steps ahead…I have this to do, I have to complete this, this matter can’t wait…? With our feet planted in the “have to do’s”, do we lose sight of the “here before us”? Do we put our day in a tiny box?

“Make the world a better place today…”

What would that look like in my ordinary day?

Perhaps slowing down to take in the present moment…focusing on the present moment…but most importantly interacting with the present moment with intention.

Beginning the day with intention…intention bigger than just completing the “have to do’s”. Intention declared with conviction that begins to mold the day before us.

“Make the world a better place today.”

An honorable intention with which to begin the day…an honorable intention that can supercharge the day unfolding.

What intention will you choose to begin your day? How will you supercharge the day before you?

Make each day your masterpiece.John Wooden
