Lifelines Counseling Services and Hummingbird Ideas are excited to host a back to school supply giveaway on Saturday, July 29th, starting at 8 a.m. in the Hummingbird Ideas parking lot, located at 1102 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Al. 36604. Back to school supply packets will be given away to over 200 children in need of help this year. To participate, simply come by the morning of the giveaway and pick up a packet of supplies. In an effort to help with some of the financial burdens some families face, Hummingbird Ideas has decided to partner with Lifelines Counseling Services and the 2-1-1 referral line and give back to our community. As part of this effort, Hummingbird Ideas has purchased and will distribute the packets to 200 children in need of the supplies. Each child can receive a packet of a pencil pouch with #2 pencils, highlighter, index cards, glue, a pocket folder and spiral bound notebook. “Our goal is to help the thinkers of tomorrow by providing them with basic school supplies, allowing them to focus on performing their best in the classroom,” explained Hummingbird Ideas Partner, Tim Dozier. **Please note, supplies are limited and packets are available to the first 200.**
